Professional Interpreter Exchange was launched in 1993 by a few very dedicated people with personal ties to the deaf community and has, over a number of years, become the Maryland, Washington DC, and Northern Virginia region's leading provider of interpreting services. Since 2000, PIE has offered services for the deaf, hard of hearing, deaf-blind and foreign language users. Today, we provide service in a multitude of fields, including government, medical, legal, educational, and infinite community settings and are known for our ability to respond to last-minute Requests for Services.
